Kadampa communities in Paris and London recently welcomed Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Sangden while Kadampas in Barcelona and Girona welcomed retired Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kunsang.
Both new and exisiting practioners from across France gather at the KMC France for the empowerment of the wisdom Buddha, Manjushri, as well as practical teachings from Gen-la Sangden, Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
On the first weekend in April, the German Sangha gathered in Tharpaland KMC for the annual German Dharma Celebration with Gen Ananda.
Practitioners from across Europe gathered at Kailash International Retreat Centre in the Swiss Alps for the Swiss, Italian, and Austrian Dharma Festival 2026, receiving the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha White Tara — the Buddha of long life, wisdom, and good fortune — with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.
During the Spanish Festival 2026, around 500 people gathered — both in person at KMC Spain and online from many different countries from all over the worlds — to share a truly meaningful spiritual experience.
Kadampas from the Nordic region and the United States came together for joyful National Festivals and regional Celebrations, receiving empowerments and teachings from Gen-la Kunsang and Kadam Morten Clausen

At this time of year, many Kadampa centers around the world come together to celebrate the end of year and enjoy time with their communities. Here is a glimpse of the festive season at Manjushri KMC, KMC Munich in Germany, KMC Tampa Bay in US and Odiyana KMC in the UK.
From September 5 to 9, Kadampas from all over Germany gathered at the beautiful Tharpaland KMC for the German Festival 2025 with Gen-la Kunsang.
Last weekend, the annual National Festival for Switzerland, Italy and Austria took place at Kailash International Retreat Centre with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.
