This past weekend Gen Kelsang Eupame, the National Spiritual Director of France visited Kadampa Meditation Center Paris and shared practical methods in a special lecture on the topic “Release yourself from attachment”.
We have concluded Part 1 of our Snow Mountain Retreat 2023 with retreaters completing their Close Retreat of collecting 100,000 Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka mantras and finishing with Vajradaka Burning Offering sessions, sitting outside in -10°C temperatures!
KMC Barcelona’s retreat month ended this weekend with a week of retreat on completion stage led by Gen-la Thubten.
Kadampas from all over Germany gathered to engage in the Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka counting retreat. Being able to practice the Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land sadhana and recite 100000 mantras has been a wonderful and blessed opportunity.
Kadampa Meditation Center Madrid has received over 70 people to enjoy these days of retreat with Gen-la Thubten. Gen-la is leading us through a sequence of magical meditations. Everyone is really happy and enjoying this precious opportunity.
At the beginning of the year KMC Austria hosted a one-week Lamrim-Silence retreat in the Upper Austrian Ennstal. More than 20 meditators from all over Austria took a week to attend this special event.
In October 2022 Tharpa Spain started a book talk campaign to promote the book The Clear Light of Bliss as it was the last book of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s collection to be translated into Spanish.
This year the holidays were celebrated in style at the chateau, the home of KMC France.
A special retreat with Gen Eupame was followed by wonderful Christmas lunch and OSG in the evening.
