Buddha Maitreya empowerment at KMC Slovenia
A joint event with two Kadampa centres
Fortunate - and very happy - Kadampas from Slovenia and Austria gathered in Ljubljana this weekend to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya. The empowerment was given by Kadam Andrew Crompton, the Resident Teacher of KMC Slovenia.
"Kadam Andrew also gave teachings on the practices of affectionate love and cherishing love, emphasising how we can make our practice touch our heart.
"Although the empowerment weekend was hosted by KMC Slovenia, it was effectively a joint effort between KMC Slovenia and KMC Austria – an inspiring example of Kadampa centres working together and supporting each other to fulfil Venerable Geshe-la's vision of an international Kadampa Buddhist Union."
