Spanish national festival 2023
Last week more than 500 practitioners from all over Spain gathered at the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Málaga to celebrate the Spanish National Festival taught by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, the National Spiritual Director of Austria, Switzerland, Italy and South Africa.
She granted the blessing empowerment of Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara and gave teachings on compassion and wisdom.
"During the precious teachings Gen-la Kunsang told us: This festival is training in world peace. The Dharma offers us the opportunity to experience inner peace and create a Pure Land for ourselves and others. In this way we work so that the vision of our Teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche becomes a reality."
"She has also encouraged us to reflect on the meaning of our human life and to look in the mirror of Dharma to find solutions to our problems."
The retreat was guided by the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Chokga and was deeply enjoyed.
