A Day of Blessings and Good Fortune
During Brazil’s Independence Day long weekend, KMC Brazil(opens in new tab) welcomed practitioners and newcomers for a special Buddha Shakyamuni empowerment granted by the Center’s Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Drime.
Saturday was a particularly meaningful day for the community, with many people coming together to receive deep blessings and precious teachings on the Essence of Good Fortune sadhana. The peaceful atmosphere offered a beautiful opportunity to connect with Buddha Shakyamuni and deepen our faith and practice.
The holiday weekend continued with a variety of activities, including teachings on the meaning of the Liberating Prayer.
These activities offered a joyful way for both practitioners and visitors to enjoy the Temple and discover the peaceful environment of KMC Brazil.

KMC Concepción(opens in new tab) recently welcomed the community for the precious opportunity to receive the blessings of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita through a special empowerment.
It was a joyful and meaningful occasion, with practitioners and newcomers gathering to receive profound teachings on the perfection of wisdom. The event offered a precious opportunity to strengthen our connection with wisdom and to bring Buddha’s teachings into our daily lives.
The Center would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as all those who generously volunteered their time to make this special event possible.
Above all, we rejoice in the kindness of Venerable Geshe-la(opens in new tab), whose teachings give us practical methods for developing a peaceful mind and discovering the lasting happiness that comes from practicing Buddha’s teachings.

Awakening Universal Love
The Sangha of Je Tsongkhapa KMC in Asheville, North Carolina, gathered for a beautiful blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya, the Buddha of Loving Kindness, guided by Resident Teacher Kadam Sharon Lovich.
Through this precious empowerment, practitioners were introduced to Maitreya — the embodiment of universal love — and had the opportunity to establish a living connection with his blessings, awakening their own potential to develop loving kindness for all living beings without exception. It was a truly meaningful and uplifting occasion for the Sangha of Asheville.
