Recently, the community of KMC Paris had the honor of welcoming Gen-la Sangden, the new Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, for a talk that deeply moved our hearts.
125 people attended this special event.
Gen-la emphasized an essential truth: our body and mind are different natures, and that understanding the nature of our mind will lead to inner peace and happiness.
The mind is clarity, it has no shape, no color, and no physical characteristics. It is like space—limitless.
Happiness is within reach. As Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso often says, it is actually very easy to be happy, we just need to listen to the advice of enlightened beings.
Day course at KMC London

On Saturday 11 April, KMC London hosted a truly special event with Gen-la Sangden, just one day after she was appointed the new Deputy Spiritual Director. The London World Peace Temple was filled with both new and experienced practitioners, all gathered to explore the theme of the Quiet Revolution of Compassion.
Gen-la shared practical and accessible methods for integrating compassion into our daily lives, showing how we can transform everyday challenges into opportunities for inner growth. Through gentle guided meditations, prayers, and the wisdom of the teachings, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how to develop this precious mind and use it to contribute to a more peaceful and harmonious world.

Public Talk At KMC Barcelona

KMC Barcelona recently experienced a magic moment, welcoming back its former Resident Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.
The Temple was filled to capacity with over 220 people for her public talk, The Secret of Liberty. With her warmth and clarity, Gen-la inspired both newcomers and long-time students, reminding everyone that true freedom is found within the peace of our own minds.
The visit concluded with Gen-la presiding over Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja. It was a weekend of deep gratitude, celebrating the flourishing of Kadam Dharma in the heart of Barcelona.
Workshop At KMC Girona

KMC Girona recently had the wonderful opportunity to welcome Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang — the first Teacher of some of our community members. The Temple was filled to capacity, with over 90 people attending her workshop on The Four Noble Truths. With her characteristic warmth and clarity, Gen-la inspired newcomers and long-term students alike, reminding everyone that liberation from suffering and true happiness are found through wisdom and peace of mind.
