Post Spring Festival retreats in Spain

Over the weekend of March 7–8, KMC Guadalajara had the precious opportunity to receive the special empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni who, for Buddhist practitioners, is the source of all spiritual realizations.
Under the guidance of Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Shima, the Sangha were encouraged to view Buddha Shakyamuni as the Teacher who reveals ultimate truth. Gen Kelsang Shima transmitted the teachings of Venerable Geshe-la on how to engage with this practice, guiding everyone to nourishing their faith in Buddha in order to continuously receive his blessings to transform the mind and enjoy a happy and meaningful life.
KMC Guadalajara is deeply grateful to all those whose kindness made this event possible. May all beings, following the example of Buddha, attain permanent liberation from suffering and its causes.
Recently, KMC Colombia had the precious opportunity to host a special event Liberating Compassion, during which 65 people received the blessing empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of universal compassion. Through this guided meditative experience, participants deepened their connection with Avalokiteshvara and planted powerful seeds to develop love, compassion, wisdom and inner peace in their daily lives.
The weekend also included commentary to the practice of Powa — a profound meditation method that teaches how to transfer our consciousness to a Pure Land at the time of death. Guided by Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Atisha, the entire weekend was filled with a deeply peaceful and joyful atmosphere, bringing together people with a shared intention to cultivate a good heart and benefit others.
Recently, KMC Mérida held a special event that touched the hearts of all who attended. Under the joyful and loving guidance of Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Chime, the Sangha received the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni.
More than just an event, it was an opportunity to connect with deep faith and to recognize the immense kindness of Buddha, who shows the path to freedom from suffering at its very root.
Following the empowerment, Gen Chime gave commentary to the profound purification practice, The Bodhisattva's Confession of Moral Downfalls, reciting the names of the 35 Confession Buddhas while performing prostrations. Practitioners then engaged in this deeply moving spiritual practice that left everyone feeling lighter and renewed.
KMC Mérida is deeply grateful to Venerable Geshe-la for providing everything needed to find the lasting inner peace that everyone is seeking. Heartfelt thanks also go to all the volunteers whose effort and dedication made this gathering possible.
