Closing the year together, the Sangha at KMC Guadalajara gathered with gratitude and enthusiasm, looking ahead to the new year’s activities.
This past weekend, Kadampa Meditation Center Peru held a course that offered participants a deeply meaningful experience, helping them end the year with a peaceful mind and a light heart. The teachings and contemplations provided practical tools to let go of habits and mental states that cause suffering, opening the way to a new beginning full of clarity, purpose, and hope.
The course concluded with a warm Christmas gathering, where participants celebrated the holidays in a spirit of friendship, gratitude, and joy. Surrounded by positive experiences and noble intentions, everyone left inspired, connected, and reminded of the blessings of walking this path together.
On 13–14 December 2025, KMC Metz welcomed Gen Kelsang Tonpa, Resident Teacher of KMC Paris, for a special weekend on Turning the Page and Opening to New Possibilities. Nearly 50 participants received precious guidance on accepting the past, understanding the true nature of happiness, reflecting on karma, and purifying past negative tendencies, helping to cultivate a peaceful, compassionate mind and be open to new beneficial opportunities.
The weekend was also a joyful time to connect with Gen Tonpa and the Sangha in the festive city center of Metz. Everyone left inspired by his gentle and skilful teachings, grateful for this meaningful gift, and motivated to carry these lessons forward into the new year.
On December 14th, KMC Washington DC welcomed over 30 Sangha members for a joyful holiday gathering. Together they shared a festive potluck, exchanged thoughtful gifts, and enjoyed each other’s company in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
The gift exchange offered playful surprises and gentle reminders of patience and non-attachment, leaving everyone uplifted, grateful, and inspired for the holiday season.
At Atisha KMC in Darlington we enjoyed a joyful and festive celebration, beginning with a short meditation and followed by a wonderful Christmas meal shared together. The day was filled with laughter, warm conversations, and a strong sense of Sangha connection.
Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Bexhill, UK, marked the end of term with a joyful Christmas social, bringing together students from different classes in a warm Sangha atmosphere. The celebrations led naturally into a precious guided Vajrasattva retreat, offering a peaceful and meaningful time before the festive break.
Last weekend, the community of KMC Stuttgart came together to celebrate Christmas in a warm and joyful atmosphere, sharing coffee, cake, and festive activities for all ages. The afternoon included an inspiring meditation led by Resident Teacher Jörg Meerholz, a screening of The Life of Buddha, and meaningful time together for both long-standing students and newcomers. Everyone deeply appreciated the harmony of the community, with heartfelt gratitude to Venerable Geshe-la for creating the conditions to have such a precious place to gather and practice.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening connecting with our KMC Ottawa community at the 2025 holiday potluck. Surrounded by a warm and joyful Sangha, we shared food, Dharma experiences, and heartfelt conversations, making it a truly special and uplifting celebration together.
