The One Hidden Source of All Our Suffering

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso teaches that all our problems—anger, attachment, jealousy, depression, and fear—arise continuously from one source, like waves from the ocean. That source is our ignorance. In this teaching, he explains how to distinguish outer problems from inner problems, and why only Dharma can bring a real solution.
'You know, we cannot solve our problem, problem of anger, problem of attachment, problem of jealousy by hand, by using machine, by other people.
We can solve our problem only through Dharma, because when we have correctly identified our own problems, then we understand what is real method to solve our problems. That is Buddha's teaching, Buddha Dharma.'
