Jun 4, 2026
This weekend, KMC Seville’s Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Dargyey, visited KMC Valladolid to give a course on emptiness. He presented these profound teachings in a clear and practical way, making them easy to understand and apply in daily life. Everyone expressed deep gratitude for his visit and for the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, whose kindness makes it possible for us to learn how to become wiser and happier.
At Mahamudra KMC in Hermosa Beach, Gen Kelsang Demo led a half day retreat on the practice of Taking and Giving during her visit to Southern California. She explained how this ancient method helps open the heart, bring mental peace, and support both our own healing and our ability to help others. Practitioners gathered with appreciation for the chance to deepen their experience of this profound meditation and strengthen their capacity for compassion.
KMC Granada recently welcomed Gen Ganden for his first visit to the center, just before the arrival of their new Resident Teacher, Kelsang Pandita. Gen Ganden offered inspiring teachings on the Three Principal Aspects of the Path, showing how to face life’s difficulties with wisdom and develop a more compassionate and open heart. The community enjoyed this warm and meaningful event, grateful for the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Kadam Dharma.
June 4 is the Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day on which we celebrate Buddha’s first teaching in this world - the first Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. It is also the birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Founder of NKT.
