On Thursday, September 25th almost 1,000 people gathered at the prestigious Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks, California, for a very special evening called Freedom From Anxiety with our General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.
Hundreds and hundreds of new people had the opportunity to listen, contemplate, and meditate together on the timeless wisdom of Buddha - including the mayor of Thousand Oaks!
Gen-la Dekyong skillfully taught practical methods on training the mind in compassion and wisdom from How to Transform Your Life and Modern Buddhism by our Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
So many new people benefited from this event!
