TEACHERS GATHER TOGETHER AT THEIR SPIRITUAL HOME
The International Teacher Training Program 2025 is underway at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in the UK. Resident Teachers have gathered together from around the world for their annual study program with Gen-la Khyenrab.
This is a special, joyful time for all the Teachers to return to their spiritual home, to immerse themselves in study and meditation and to spend time sharing Dharma and improving their qualifications together.
This year they are studying the extraordinary text How to Understand the Mind. In this book Venerable Geshe-la transmits his deep and precise understanding of the nature and function of the many parts of the mind. This book is a special key that unlocks many insights into the way our mind works to create reality. For the Teachers it is a seminal text that helps them to progress spiritually and increases their ability to inspire and guide others along a clear spiritual path.
Teachers have come from all over the world; from as far afield as Nicaragua, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, Mexico, as well as across Europe. This year the Teachers in North America are joining remotely and helping to prepare the International Kadampa Retreat Center in Arizona to host the Kadampa Fall Festival.
The teachings are translated live and discussions take place in many languages. We deeply appreciate the incredible skill and vision of our kind Spiritual Guide in creating this program to support and sustain sincere Teachers of Kadampa Buddhism for many generations to come, and to help pure Kadam Dharma flourish throughout the world.
