Mexican National Festival 2025

More 400 Kadampa practitioners in-person and 100 online gathered this year for the 2025 Mexican Festival with Gen Kelsang Rabten at KMC Mexico.

Mexican FESTIVAL ~ The Precious Value of Our Life

With the meditation hall filled with Sangha members from Mexico, Colombia, Peru and California, we held our 2025 National Kadampa Festival, The Precious Value of Our Life, attended by almost 400 people in person and more than 100 online.

In a joyful atmosphere of happiness at meeting new spiritual friends and reconnecting with old ones, we listened to extraordinary teachings by Gen Kelsang Rabten and received Buddha White Tara empowerment.

With great love and clarity, Gen Rabten encouraged us to recognize our deepest wish: the desire to be happy at all times, which can be achieved by following Buddha's advice to attain the true essence of human life.

Teachings & Empowerment with Gen Kelsang Rabten

In a show of love for our culture, Gen Rabten conferred the Buddha White Tara initiation in Spanish. The Mexican community greatly enjoyed this and was very grateful for his efforts.

By sharing the teachings of our Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, on the Four Seals, Gen Rabten encouraged us to contemplate impermanence — a special preparation for understanding the true nature of phenomena.
