The light of Buddha's wisdom shines on Brazil
Thanks to the great kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, this June KMC Indaiatuba, Heruka KMC in São José dos Campos and Maitreya KBC in Belo Horizonte were blessed with precious empowerments.

A Medicine Buddha empowerment took place at KMC Indaiatuba in Brazil, where 35 people had the precious opportunity to receive these powerful blessings.
In addition to the empowerment, Gen Chogyap also gave profound teachings on emptiness, as well as explanations on the promises made by the Seven Medicine Buddhas. The next day, practitioners had the opportunity to engage in a retreat, deepening their faith and connection with Medicine Guru.

Becoming a Light for Others
AVALOKITESHVARA EMPOWERMENT IN SÃO JOSÉ DOS CAMPOS
This year, the most important and blessed event at Kadampa Meditation Center Heruka (Brazil) was Becoming a Light for Others – the Empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion.
Over three transformative days, practitioners and newcomers came together to receive powerful teachings and the heartfelt blessings of Avalokiteshvara. The Center became a peaceful haven filled with moments of reflection, connection, and deep inner peace.
The highlight of this special event was the commentary to Avalokiteshvara practice originally given by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 1996. On that precious occasion, he transmitted the complete Avalokiteshvara Sadhana and, most importantly, gave detailed instructions on how to combine the recitation of Avalokiteshvara’s mantra with the practice of taking away suffering and giving love and happiness.
It was a deeply blessed experience that inspired everyone to become a light for others in their daily lives.
BUDDHA AMITAYUS EMPOWERMENT IN BELO HORIZONTE
This month the most important and blessed event at Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Center in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) was the empowerment of Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha of long life, with our Resident Teacher Kadam Vanda.
