Blessing Empowerments in Brazil

Thanks to the great kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, this April both the Third Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Brazil and KMC Rio were blessed with precious empowerments.

In April, we had a powerful Vajrapani empowerment at KMC Rio. The first empowerment given at the center by the new Resident Teacher Gen Dechog was attended by Kadampa practitioners from all over Brazil, who travelled from various cities in search of blessings for more spiritual power in their lives.

It was three days where we could dedicate ourselves to making our life extremely meaningful and to feel the power of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's precious teachings. We felt very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet our compassionate Spiritual Guide and to be able to practice his pure Dharma.

After the event, we took advantage of the public holiday to immerse ourselves in a post-empowerment retreat, where we delved deeper into the practice of Buddha Vajrapani, doing deep meditations, combating our delusions and wrong views, and enjoying the pure land of Vajrapani.

This past holiday weekend at the World Peace Temple in Brazil over 80 people came together to receive the teachings and blessings of Manjushri, the manifestation of the wisdom of all Buddhas.

Guided by Gen Kelsang Drime, Buddhists and non-Buddhists deepened their understanding of the teachings and practice of Buddha Manjushri for a more harmonious and meaningful life.
