Crowds Flock to Discover Happiness from a different source

Manjushri KMC in UK and KMC Monterrey in Mexico both hosted well-attended public talks. These events focused on finding peace from within and introduced locals to the valuable resources offered by their local Kadampa centers.

Public Talk in Manjushri KMC

Gen-la Dekyong's enlightening public talk at Manjushri KMC drew crowds from across the Lake District and beyond. Attendees braved the rain to discover scientific methods to cultivate inner calm through meditation and profound Buddhist wisdom.

This "Hour of Peace" not only offered a respite from daily stress but also equipped visitors with practical tools for lasting freedom.

Public Talk at KMC Monterrey

We're delighted to share photos from Gen Kelsang Shima's wonderful visit to Monterrey. During her stay, we enjoyed a retreat called "Happiness Always Depends on a Peaceful Mind," a public talk on "The Secret of Peace" at the Marco Museum, and Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers at our meditation center. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Throughout her teachings, Gen Shima emphasized the importance of looking within to discover the inner city of peace that resides in each of us. She reminded us that if we don't change internally, nothing will improve externally—even if we move to a new house or country.

Gen Shima explained that our greatest superpower is the ability to choose which thoughts we follow, though we often find ourselves pulled along by negative ones. She taught that by practicing Buddha's teachings with faith and sincerity, we can learn to control our minds. This control allows us to remain calm and happy, even in challenging situations.
