On Thursday the new ordainees, together with hundreds of Kadampa ordained practitioners from around the world, gathered together for a powerful ordination ceremony with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

Those already ordained acted as witnesses, welcoming them into the family of ordained practitioners and celebrating their decision to make the direction of their lives very clear and fully dedicated to the practice of Lamrim.

During the talk Gen-la Khyenrab gave a very clear presentation based on Venerable Geshe-la's advice about the meaning and benefits of ordination and the ordained way of life. Then with great love and affection he completed the actual ordination ceremony.

He finished with some heartfelt advice that is suitable for all practitioners, that the best way to keep all our vows and to keep pure moral discipline is to practice cherishing others.

Our five new Sangha come from four different countries and three different continents, reflecting the global reach of the New Kadampa Tradition. We wish them every happiness in their ordination!
