Spanish National Festival with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang
Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni
For Buddhists, faith in Buddha Shakyamuni is their spiritual life. On this special occasion, more than 500 people gathered from all corners of Spain, of which more than 400 attended in person for the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, the National Spiritual Director of Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and South Africa, held in the 6th Temple for World Peace.
During the event, we prepared our minds for the teachings with meditations guided by Gen Kelsang Lochani, the Resident Teacher of KMC Barcelona, and the retreat was conducted by Gen Kelsang Chokga, Resident Teacher of the Spanish Temple and National Spiritual Director of Spain and Portugal.

We have shared a few wonderful days with our spiritual companions and enjoyed the presence of our Guru, who pervades every corner of this Pure Land.
By carrying the Guru in our hearts, we come closer to our Teacher's holy vision of achieving the peace we long for. Thank you, Geshe-la, for giving us this precious spiritual life.
