Causing Dharma to Flourish in Toulouse and Washington DC
From time to time National Spiritual Directors visit centers in their region to give teachings. In addition to the inspiring teachings, these special events have many benefits including attracting new people and bringing the community together. Gen Eupamé visits Vajravarahi KMC, Toulouse
On the weekend of 14-16 March, we had the honor of welcoming Gen Kelsang Eupamé to Vajravarahi KMC in Toulouse. The weekend started on the Friday evening with a public talk at a hired venue in the branch location of Brive. The talk was entitled, Staying Positive in all Circumstances.
At the center in Toulouse we had a day course entitled, How to be Correctly Guided on our Inner Path. The teachings were superb and the center was looking great with our newly created breakout space. Following the event we had delicious refreshments and enjoyed spending time together with Gen Eupamé. Everyone was delighted!
Kadam Morten visits KMC Washington DC, USA
The night before the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Dharma Celebration, KMC-DC welcomed Eastern National Spiritual Director Kadam Morten Clausen for an inspiring public talk called, Change Your World, Change Your Mind. Kadam Morten’s talk was the kick-off event to mark the center’s 30th anniversary year and was especially poignant because Kadam Morten was KMC-DC’s first Resident Teacher when Venerable Geshe-la founded the Center in 1994.
Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Demo introduced Kadam Morten to the full house of members, visitors and first-time attendees. After the talk, many practitioners spoke of a feeling of great encouragement to practice meditation in general and in particular to return to KMC-DC for classes and special events.
