Beginnings of Kadam Dharma in Xalapa, Mexico
A wonderful new development in Xalapa, Mexico, where a new Kadampa Center was opened this January. The local community came together to celebrate the opening of this new space with meditation and a talk by the Resident Teacher, Kelsang Shewang.Â
Sangha from our region worked joyfully to prepare the new space. Cleaning and arranging new furniture and shrine was a wonderful task, creating the causes for Kadam Dharma to flourish in this region of Mexico. We are infinitely grateful for having our own Dharma Center where we can study, meditate, and pray together.
We are so happy that KBC Vajrapani in Xalapa, the first Dharma Center in the state of Veracruz in Mexico, started its activities this January. The opening was beautiful - it was a fantastic evening in Xalapa! We rejoice sincerely because now, many people will have the opportunity to get to know Geshe-la's legacy to the modern world: pure Kadam Dharma.
