A Festival of love – Asian Festival 2023
The 2023 Asian Festival has concluded with our hearts full of love and joy. In the picturesque setting of Mui Wo on Lantau Island in Hong Kong, 170 practitioners from all across Asia gathered joyfully to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya and the teachings on the Buddhist way of loving kindness.Â

It was wonderful to see all our Asian Sangha again and enjoy together the nectar of the wisdom teachings that come through the kindness of our Spiritual Guide and Founder Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. We thank Gen-la Kunsang from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us the precious jewels of Venerable Geshe-la’s supreme teachings and powerful blessings, and for showing us a perfect example of a Kadampa’s warm heart of loving kindness which we will strive to pass onto many others.
We are also deeply grateful to Gen Tonglam and Gen Rabten for giving teachings, everyone who attended the Festival, and to all our kind volunteers for making this happen.
We can really see for ourselves a world at peace in which everyone loves and cherishes each other is possible.
