Enjoying Retreat

It’s the last day of the retreat and session by session we go deeper with the blessed Heruka practice of New Essence of Vajrayana. Even as Festival draws to a close still we are learning, contemplating and developing our concentration. Gen Tonglam encourages us to relax, to let our Guru guide us in meditation and to simply hold the various meditation objects in our mind; in this way they gradually reveal their deeper meaning.

DAY 15 ~ Inner Peace to take home

As we enjoy our last full day at the Festival - meditating, contemplating and enjoying the sunshine - some people are planning a post-festival retreat, inspired to continue their spiritual holiday and to deepen their experience of the teachings.

These post-festival retreats take place in beautiful Kadampa Centres around the world, with qualified Kadampa Teachers giving practitioners the opportunity to relax and enjoy other Dharma Centres. During these retreats they will review and meditate on the teachings they have received during Festival, so that they will never be forgotten, but continue to transform their lives.
