Universal compassion is the subject of this year's US National Festival. Kadam Bridget Heyes, the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland will grant an empowerment (blessing transmission) of Thousand-Armed Avalokiteshvara.

About the teacher
Kadam Bridget Heyes, the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, will be the principal teacher for the US Festival this year.
She is well-loved and known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life. Kadam Bridget will grant Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara Empowerment and give teachings on Universal Compassion.
Kadampa Meditation Center New York is hosting the US Festival this year. KMC New York is the national center for Kadampa Buddhism in the United States and is home to the US World Peace Temple. KMC New York was the second traditional Kadampa Temple in the world opened by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 2006. It is one of six traditional Kadampa Temples in the world.
