Spiritual friendships were rekindled and it was a joy to pray, meditate and discuss dharma together. The main theme of the event was purification, both in formal practice through Vajrasattva recitation and meditation; and in daily life through patience and transforming appearances into the spiritual path. Both timely and timeless, these special Kadampa practices help us to make each moment meaningful.

Before the celebration weekend Gen Rabten also gave public talks in Wellington and Auckland.
