Christmas at the Mother Center
Over the holidays Manjushri KMC, the mother center of Modern Kadampa Buddhism, was alive with visitors and residents enjoying the Christmas course with Gen-la Thubten entitled As smooth as Lapis Lazuli. Everyone enjoyed the profound, yet practical teachings and meditations.
On Christmas Day, residents and volunteers worked enthusiastically to decorate the dining tables and the corridor to create a festive but peaceful atmosphere for the delightful vegetarian lunch.
Walking in the woods, relaxing in the World Peace Cafe, enjoying meaningful conversation and making new friends all combine to make this a very special time.
