Full house at KMC Plymouth this weekend! The center was the venue for the South West Dharma Celebration with Kadam Bridget Heyes, National Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU for the UK and Ireland. The weekend began with Kadam Bridget formally opening the center using the traditional Kadampa ritual of cutting the ribbon, symbolizing removing ignorance from our minds and opening the door to the Pure Land.

During the celebration itself, Kadam Bridget granted the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita and gave teachings on the Heart Sutra. Meditations were led by Kelsang Drolkar, the Resident Teacher at KMC Plymouth.

It was a wonderful weekend enjoyed by everybody and a very auspicious occasion for Dharma in the South West.
