KMC Madrid was founded in 1995 and since then has been the home of many Kadampa Teachers and students in Spain.

A few years ago the center purchased a beautiful and very well situated City Temple in the heart of Madrid. This caused a big increase in the number of students and activities, which led to an increased demand for a residential site for retreats and weekend courses.
