Cherishing families within the global family
The International Kadampa family has thousands of members, lay and ordained, and includes many families with children. Here is an example of how one center is helping children at home during the lockdown with online classes.
Tharpaland KMC recently offered their first lockdown-compatible Online Dharma for Kids class, which was well received throughout the country.
35 children of all ages enjoyed a short meditation, listened to stories about Buddha's disciple Angulimala and created their very first mandala offering guided online by a teacher at the center! See what great time everyone had.
The center is now planning to hold these classes online every two weeks.
