Coast to coast development

Among the many special events and developments on International Temples Day on Saturday, two auspicious developments took place in the US. On the west coast KMC Hollywood became KMC Los Angeles, with an extended vision, and on the east coast, KMC Long Island installed the precious deer and Dharma Wheel on their Temple roof.

KMC Los Angeles

"We have some exciting news to share! On International Temples Project Day, we announced that in order to reflect the breadth of our vision to benefit the people of Los Angeles, we have changed our mere name! For the past 6 years, our center has been known as Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood, but from this point forward, our new name is Kadampa Meditation Center Los Angeles! We are deeply inspired to use this moment as an opportunity to reimagine and re-envision the way in which KMC Los Angeles can benefit the 10 million people of LA!

"Also, as part of our rebranding efforts to capture the essence of what it means to be a modern Buddhist in LA, we've changed the signage on our beautiful temple property! Check it out! :)"

KMC Long Island

"We had a momentous day here at Kadampa Meditation Center Long Island (in New York, USA) on NKT International Temples Project Day (Nov. 7, 2020). The golden deer and Dharma Wheel created for us by the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri center was finally installed on the roof!"
