A Spiritual Weekend in South America

Last weekend the 2020 California Dharma Celebration was held both in-person and online from KMC Hollywood. Gen Rigpa, National Spiritual Direcotr for Western US granted the empowerment of Dorje Shugden and some commentary to the long protector practice, Melodious Drum Victorious in all Directions
Last weekend saw people all over Europe enjoying the Swiss, Italian, Austrian Dharma Festival 2020, with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, retired Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT, giving empowerment and teachings from KMC Edinburgh, where she is the Resident Teacher. The meditations and retreat were guided from Kailash IRC in Switzerland.
At the 2020 Online International Fall Festival Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong the General Spiritual Director of NKT will grant empowerment and teachings on the seven Medicine Buddhas. Receiving the empowerments of these Buddhas means that you will receive special blessings of their body, speech, and mind. You will receive permission to engage in the practice of these Buddhas so that you can attain a special power of body, speech, and mind that will enable you to benefit all mother beings.
On Monday, the new building for KMC Plymouth officially opened its doors to the public. The building, previously a bank, was acquired last year and during the lockdown period a team of Kadampas worked tirelessly to convert it into a modern Kadampa city Temple.
What a wonderful Canadian Festival! 5 days; an empowerment, 4 powerful teachings with Gen-la Khyenrab, 2 morning meditations and 7 retreat sessions.
This weekend the people of Canada are enjoying the Canadian National Festival with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab the National Spiritual Director for Canada and Resident Teacher at KMC Canada.
KMC Glasgow closed it’s doors on March 16 to protect our community and to support the governments message of ‘Stay Safe and Stay Home’. Within 4 days of closing our centre, something quite extraordinary manifested . . .
Last week a van set off from Manjushri KMC bound for Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland with a precious cargo from the Kadampa Art Studio.
After 174 days closed due to these unusual times, the World Peace Temple in Brazil is open again.
Friday, October 16, will be Work a Day for World Peace Day, during which people all over the world will dedicate a day’s wages or whatever is a comfortable amount to help with the work of the International Temples Project.
