Day 3 ~ Appreciating Our Precious Human Life
Jul 27, 2026
On Monday, the new building for KMC Plymouth officially opened its doors to the public.
The building, previously a bank, was acquired last year and during the lockdown period a team of Kadampas worked tirelessly to convert it into a modern Kadampa city Temple.
Up to now classes been conducted online, but in-person general programme classes are planned for the near future and in-person Foundation Programme and Teacher Training Programme classes commence this weekend.
The coffee shop and book store are already open 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday. Why not stop by and treat yourself to some of their famous coffee and good company?
The day begins with a morning meditation on the first Lamrim meditation that we learned about yesterday, the preciousness of our human life. Using the Festival teachings and Venerable Geshe-la's words to help us to contemplate the purpose of the meditation which is to encourage us to take the real meaning of our human lives
