With financial assistance from the International Temples project,  KMC Austria was able to acquire a commercial property in Vienna.

It is located in a lively part of Vienna, in the heart of the 4th district, close to fine shops and galleries and the famous “Naschmarkt”, in the Schleifmühlgasse 15. It is part of the historic center of Vienna, close to the Technical University, the transport hub Karlsplatz and within walking distance of the Opera.

Great progress is being made with converting the property into an urban Temple that will seat 120 people.

During July the wooden structures and walls were erected and the center began to take shape inside.

Now hard-working members of the Viennese sangha are helping with filling, priming, painting and cleaning as they progress toward an opening in the Fall.
