The 2020 International Festival starts tomorrow with an introduction by Gen-la Khyenrab at 7.30pm UK time.
You will receive your login by e-mail and the Festival Page will become active at 10am UK time Friday
All proceeds from International Festivals go to the International Temples Fund (ITP), whose purpose is to fulfill the vision of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche of a Kadampa Temple in every city of the world.
So by participating in the International Spring Festival 2020, you will be contributing to the development of new Temples around the world.

Gen Thekchen explores how our attachment to the pursuit of happiness can make us vulnerable

As you can see from the photos and video below, throughout the lockdown a team of artists and volunteers have continued working, albeit in greatly reduced numbers, at the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC to make statues and other adornments for Temples around the world, including the next Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Málaga, Spain.
And a small building team are preparing the lantern tower for the Málaga Temple while also taking advantage of the lull in visitors to upgrade the adornments on the Temple at the mother center.

My name is Lauren and I’m a resident at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood! I’m so happy I get to “go” to the International Spring Festival this year and receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani, the Buddha of spiritual power. I also just love the idea of being united with thousands of people through our minds meditating on compassion.
I honestly can’t think of a more important and beneficial event to be a part of during these challenging times.
