Meaningful Christmas at the Mother Center

This week, Manjushri KMC, the mother center of Modern Kadampa Buddhism, is alive with visitors and residents enjoying the Christmas course with Gen Togden entitled A Good Heart Always Gives Good Results. Everyone is enjoying the profound, yet practical teachings and meditations.

On Christmas Day, residents and volunteers worked enthusiastically to decorate the dining tables and the corridor to create a festive but peaceful atmosphere for the delightful vegetarian lunch. The dining room and corridor were at full capacity!

Walking in the woods, relaxing in the world peace cafe, enjoying meaningful conversation and making new friends all combine to make this a very special time.

Next week the center welcomes visitors for the January retreats. There is still time to book. You can come for as long as you wish to this special place at this special time - for just one or two days or for the whole retreat month.
