This weekend Kadam John McBretney, Resident Teacher at Heruka KMC in north London, granted the empowerment and commentary of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita.

The Great Mother Prajnaparamita is a female enlightened being who is the embodiment of Buddha’s perfection of wisdom. Receiving her blessings functions to heal our mind and awaken our pure potential, our Buddha nature. In this way we can permanently solve our own and others’ problems, accomplish pure, everlasting happiness and make our human life truly meaningful.

Milestone
The event took place in the new meditation room at the center, which is nearing completion after a period of conversion work. A temporary shrine was set up for the day and ninety people enjoyed the joyful and peaceful atmosphere of Heruka Centre.

This was the first event to make use of the new meditation room and adjacent cafe. It marks another important milestone in the development of Kadam Dharma in the capital city.
