This weekend Midwesterners gathered at KMC Madison from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and beyond for the US Midwest Dharma Celebration 2019.

Over 80 fortunate ones enjoyed the blessing empowerment of Green Tara with Gen Kelsang Demo, the US Midwest National Spiritual Director.

Gen Demo delivered profound and practical teachings in a light, joyful manner. She presented advice from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche sprinkled with colorful stories on overcoming the eight fears described in Liberation from Sorrow, a common practice of Arya Tara.

People of varying backgrounds in their experience of Kadam Dharma mingled during the breaks, asking questions of each other and sharing their understandings of what was being taught.

Some came for the day, others for the entire weekend, but everyone left freshly bathed in blessings of Arya Tara and newly inspired to put the teachings into practice in their daily lives.
