A world away

Soon we will be gathering at IKRC Grand Canyon for the Fall Festival 2019.

The center is located in the beautiful mountainous region of northern Arizona - less than an hour from the Grand Canyon.

Standing in almost 40 acres of rural land, IKRC Grand Canyon borders the Kaibab National Forest, which abounds with fragrant ponderosa pine trees and a wide variety of wildlife. It is surrounded by the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world.

From the center's cafe there is a direct view of Humphrey’s Peak, the highest mountain in Arizona.

See the video for a glimpse of the beautiful area surrounding the center.

Climate and conditions
This part of Arizona is not what you might expect, being 7,000 feet (2,130m) above sea level.

September/October is the start of the Fall foliage season. Day time temperatures are generally in the mid 70s (23°C) with night time temperatures dropping to the low 40s (6°C). So please be sure to pack appropriate clothing.

See you soon.
