After a highly successful visit to Mexico where she taught at the National Mexican Festival, Gen-la Kunsang is now back at her center in Edinburgh, where she was warmly welcomed by the community, glad to have their precious Teacher back in town.
Gen-la wasted no time in beginning to teach again, giving a deeply appreciated course on Improving Relationships. In the words of one of the students, 'How fortunate Edinburgh is!'

After a long wait, Kailash IRC finally received permission from the town of Törbel to install a golden vajra on the roof of the Temple.
As soon it was installed, this weekend 150 people from the local towns visited the center for an Open Day. Everyone enjoyed temple tours, meditation & cakes.
There was much laughter and many happy faces. At the end of the day all the helpers enjoyed a meal of Swiss raclette together.

Despite the cold winter, Kadampas in Chicago kept their hearts warm with the empowering blessings of Buddha Maitreya granted by the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Zamling.
Gen Zamling then guided a beautiful retreat on loving kindness. An assembly of faithful practitioners envisioning the 3rd largest city in the US, Chicago, as the pure land of Tushita - how wonderful!

This weekend the people of Berlin enjoyed the first sunny day for a while, and it was a perfect setting for their weekend refuge retreat.
Kelsang Malaya gave beautiful instructions from The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra and How to Transform your Life.
Everyone appreciated the opportunity to enjoy some deep and meaningful meditation in the heart of the city.

IKRC grand canyon
As the Fall Festival moves ever closer, our thoughts are never very far from IKRC Grand Canyon and the extraordinary project to construct the Temple for World Peace there.
