The first full day of festival dawns with beautiful skies lightening from behind the stunning mountain ranges that surround the temple.
Tonight the International Kadampa Fall Festival begins and apart from a few last minute preparations everything is ready to welcome the Festival goers.
Kadampa Centers around the world actively organize a diverse range of events for the benefit of the public. When a guest teacher visits, it often marks a special occasion, and a unique event is crafted to share wisdom teachings and insights with attendees. Kadampas from the Florida State and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States came together for weekend retreats led by an array teachers from multiple centers. This shared experience encouraged an atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual support, strengthening the connections between Kadampa Centers.
The International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon recently organized a series of community-oriented events, with a welcoming open house and a dedicated volunteer service weekend.
In the year since Spring Festival 2022 was held at KMC Spain the community have been continuing work to improve the environment around the Temple.
Both KMC Cuernavaca and KBC Queretaro had the pleasure of hosting wonderful guests who shared inspiring teachings with the local community. Over 300 participants enjoyed the courses organized by these centers.
Joyful preparations are underway at KMC Spain to make everything ready to welcome hundreds of people for the 2023 International Fall Festival on 6 October
Hosted by KMC Buenos Aires and KMC Córdoba, two weekend courses on patience and dependent relationships were held in Argentina in September. The rural retreat in Cordoba, led by the National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Rinchung, and the City Centre weekend course in Buenos Aires with Gen Kelsang Atisha were both well-attended and greatly appreciated by participants.
