Since 1985, Kadampa centers have been organizing retreats at the beginning of each year on the yoga of Buddha Amitayus. Through this, participants increase their lifespan, wisdom and good fortune.
In January at KMC London, we were fortunate to be led by our kind Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Zoma, in three wonderful retreats. Starting off in Morden at the beautiful Temple with the Vajrayogini practice of The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability followed by The Yoga of Buddha Heruka, and concluding with Amitayus retreat in Kensington.

In January the IKRCs offer longer retreats with qualified guidance so that people can gain deep experience of their practice. Everyone is welcome to join, whether for the entire retreat or just a portion of it.
At KMC New York, people from around the US and the world gathered for a powerful experience: to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya, the Buddha of loving kindness, and listen to teachings on the six perfections with Gen Samten Kelsang.
