Summer Retreat
Like A Summer Dream!
In late August, KMC Seville(opens in new tab) organized the retreat called Like a Summer Dream at KMC Spain(opens in new tab) in Malaga, where our Teacher Gen Kelsang Trime gave in-depth teachings on emptiness. We explored the true nature of our body, the self, and all other phenomena, moving closer to a wiser and profound understanding of reality.
Through Gen Trime’s practical teachings and helpful meditations, we were skilfully guided to better understand how all phenomena lack inherent, independent existence. The course was a wonderful opportunity to open the door to greater peace and happiness, and to begin freeing ourselves from worries and fears rooted in mistaken perceptions of ourselves, others, and our daily circumstances.
On the 29th, Protector Day, in a dream-like turn of events, we were surprised by the appearance of Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong; to everyone's delight, she presided the Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog puja and deeply blessed us with her presence. What a wonderful and auspicious dream!

A Peaceful Getaway
Awaken Your Inner Light
From August 21–23, KMC Albacete(opens in new tab) enjoyed a beautiful peaceful getaway at the Colonia Sahuco Lodge, surrounded by nature and taking refuge in the Three Jewels.
With deep gratitude to Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, this retreat was inspired by the teachings received during the first week of the International Summer Festival at Manjushri. The retreat was guided by our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Rigma. It was a weekend filled with wisdom, where we explored abandoning the three faults and practiced the six recognitions, all in wonderful company and with moments that will remain in our hearts.

And then on Sunday, Gen Rigma led an urban retreat dedicated to emptiness, focusing on one of the teachings that reveals the deepest correct wisdom. We reflected on a profound idea: perhaps the problem was not the problem itself, but the way we were seeing it.
We offer our heartfelt gratitude to Venerable Geshe-la and for his precious books, which inspire and guide us with such clarity and kindness. Thanks to his teachings, we were able to deepen our understanding of this liberating view and awaken a wise and pure mind.
