Visiting Teachers in Europe and the USA

Recently, more than 115 people gathered at the Hullabaloo Theatre in Darlington for a special evening talk and meditation, Dealing with Anxiety: How to Calm Your Mind, organized by Atisha KMC and taught by visiting Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme.
Drawing on the teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Jigme shared practical methods for gaining control over the mind through meditation and developing a more peaceful response to life's challenges. Participants were guided through a special breathing meditation, helping them let go of anxious thoughts and connect with a calm, positive state of mind.
The atmosphere in the packed theatre was focused and inspiring, and many people stayed afterwards to ask questions, browse Dharma books, and enjoy meeting others interested in meditation and inner peace.
It was a joyful and meaningful evening that benefited many people in the local community.
Recently, more than 100 people gathered at Goodwin College in East Hartford, Connecticut, for a special public talk, Finding Peace in Difficult Times, with Kadam Morten.
Organized by Odiyana Kadampa Buddhist Center, the event was the result of many months of dedicated effort by students who worked to share these precious teachings with the local community. During the talk, Kadam Morten offered practical advice on how to develop authentic happiness and inner peace amidst the challenges of everyday life.
Many attendees were introduced to Buddha’s teachings for the first time and left inspired to put them into practice. Following the event, participants shared how they had begun using breathing meditation in their daily lives, experiencing for themselves the benefits of a calmer and more peaceful mind.
It was a joyful and meaningful occasion that brought Dharma to many new people in the community.
Recently, around 50 people gathered for a joyful and inspiring weekend of teachings and meditation.
A special thank you to Kadam Olivier Terreault, visiting from Montpellier, for sharing profound and practical teachings on the meaning of life and the wisdom of emptiness. With great skill, experience, and humor, he helped participants deepen their understanding and appreciation of these precious teachings.
At the same time, Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Konchog was teaching in Montpellier, creating a beautiful exchange that allowed both communities to benefit from shared spiritual experiences and inspiration.
It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, deepen our Dharma practice, and enjoy the company of spiritual friends.

Recently, KMC Madison was delighted to host a special Finding Peace weekend with visiting Teacher Gen Kelsang Khedrub, Resident Teacher of KMC Boston. With more than 30 years of experience studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism, Gen Khedrub is well known for his clear, practical, and heartfelt presentation of Buddha’s teachings.
The weekend provided a valuable opportunity to step back from busy routines, deepen meditation practice, and discover authentic sources of happiness and inner peace.
