SHARING THE PEACE OF THE spanish KADAMPA TEMPLE WITH 150 VISITORS
Recently, KMC Spain welcomed a wonderful group of 150 visitors in a single day, creating a joyful and inspiring occasion for everyone involved.
What made this visit especially meaningful was that it was organized by one of our own dedicated practitioners, a student in one of our study programs. Motivated by a sincere wish to share the gift of inner peace with others, she helped bring many people to discover the Temple, its peaceful environment, and the precious teachings of Buddha.
Seeing so many visitors exploring the Temple and gardens was a beautiful reminder of how one person's kind intention can benefit many others. Each visit, conversation, and moment of reflection created causes for peace and happiness to grow in our world.
With gratitude to our Spiritual Guide, to all the volunteers, and especially to the practitioner who organized this visit, we rejoice in this special opportunity to share the blessings of the Temple with so many people.
SCHOOL GROUP DISCOVER THE KADAMPA TEMPLE IN SINTRA, PORTUGAL
Recently, the Temple in Sintra welcomed two school groups, with nearly 80 children visiting from Oeiras International School and Miramar School.
During their visit, Gen Kelsang Rigden guided a short meditation and gave an engaging introduction to Buddhism and the life of Buddha. The children participated attentively and meditated remarkably well, delighting their teachers, who commented on how calm and focused they became during the session.
The students also enjoyed visiting the Bodhi Tree and learning about its significance. With many thoughtful questions and a genuine curiosity about Buddhism, the visits were a joyful experience for everyone involved. We look forward to welcoming more young visitors to the Temple in the future.
Preparing for Highest Yoga Tantra at KMC Barcelona
A wonderful day was enjoyed by all at KMC Barcelona during a recent Tantra course guided by Gen Kelsang Lochani.
Many people gathered at the center to receive these profound teachings, making the event a meaningful preparation for those looking forward to receiving the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments this summer. Through teachings, reflection, and meditation, participants deepened their understanding and strengthened their spiritual practice.
Inspired by the precious teachings and the company of the Sangha, everyone dedicated the positive energy and merit accumulated during the course to attaining enlightenment for the benefit of all living beings.
Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment IN São José dos Campos
Recently, Heruka Kadampa Meditation Center in São José dos Campos was delighted to host a precious empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni with Buddhist monk Kelsang Lodro.
During this special event, participants received blessings and teachings on how to progress along the spiritual path through the preparatory practices of Prayers for Meditation in conjunction with the Guru Yoga of Buddha Shakyamuni. These teachings helped deepen their understanding of how to develop and maintain a close connection with Buddha in daily life.
The empowerment was a deeply meaningful and inspiring experience, strengthening participants’ connection to the unbroken lineage of wisdom and blessings that has been passed down from Buddha Shakyamuni to our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Many left feeling inspired, uplifted, and encouraged to continue their spiritual practice with greater confidence and faith in the transformative power of Kadampa teachings.
Sacred Art and Vajrayogini Self-Initiation at KMC Arizona
The Sangha of KMC Arizona in Tucson, USA, recently enjoyed two special weekends filled with creativity, devotion, and spiritual inspiration, guided by Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Lingpur.
In the first, students participated in a beautiful Sacred Art workshop, learning to draw the face of Buddha according to traditional proportions. Through this deeply contemplative activity, practitioners developed concentration, mindfulness, and a closer connection with Buddha — creating their own inspiring artwork as an expression of faith and devotion.
In the second weekend, qualified Highest Yoga Tantra practitioners gathered for the profound practice of Vajrayogini Self-Initiation, renewing their vows and commitments, receiving powerful blessings, and deepening their connection with Heruka and Vajrayogini. Surrounded by abundant offerings and a peaceful atmosphere, it was a meaningful day of spiritual renewal and dedication.
Together, these special occasions offered the Sangha a precious opportunity to deepen their faith, strengthen their practice, and enjoy the warm and supportive company of their spiritual community.
