Reasons to Celebrate

Smiles all round as practitioners gather for the Chilean Dharma Celebration in Santiago & for inspiring teachings and a party in Germany to celebrate 25 years of Kadam Dharma in Stuttgart.

Chilean Dharma Celebration at KMC Chile, Santiago

Practitioners from across Chile gathered at KMC Chile for a wonderful opportunity to receive the empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani, and then listen to and contemplate precious teachings and guided meditations led by their National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Rinchung.

By putting these teachings into practice with faith, our compassion and wisdom will increase, and with them, inner peace. External peace is not possible without the inner peace that arises from controlling one's own mind.

Thanks to the kindness of our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, these events offer practitioners the opportunity to listen to and contemplate profound teachings that lead to an ever-clearer understanding of how to attain the happiness that all beings desire.

25 Years of Kadam Dharma in Stuttgart

Last weekend, the community of KMC Stuttgart had the great pleasure of celebrating the center's 25th anniversary. To honor this special occasion, their National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Ananda, was welcomed to Stuttgart, where he gave deeply inspiring teachings on using meditation to overcome fear and on developing genuine self-confidence through the practice of cherishing others.

Over the two days, many participants from all three study programs, as well as newcomers, joined in, filling the center with vibrant discussions and the joy of celebrating this wonderful place together. Practitioners particularly appreciated the opportunity to spend time with their National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Ananda, their Resident Teacher, Jörg Meerholz, and their former Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lobma.
