Through Venerable Geshe-la's kindness, practitioners were able to gather to receive these precious teachings and empowerment. The community at KMC Arizona recently had the good fortune of hosting an Avalokiteshvara empowerment with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lingpur. Through the boundless kindness of Venerable Geshe-la's blessings and inspiration, and Gen Lingpur's beautiful teachings, Kadampas in Arizona came together for a beautiful weekend of teachings, meditation, and a shared intention to benefit others.
Through the dedicated efforts of volunteers, a welcoming and peaceful space was created in which participants felt supported, nourished, and inspired — a true reflection of the warmth and compassion that defines the Kadampa community. Heartfelt gratitude is offered to all who helped make this auspicious event possible. 🙏

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, the community at KMC Victoria had the great fortune of receiving the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani from their Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Zopa. Through the boundless kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, everyone had the opportunity to increase their own and other's spiritual power.
It was an inspiring day that left practitioners with renewed enthusiasm and a strengthened determination to make progress on the spiritual path — and to cherish and support one another as a spiritual community. Heartfelt thanks go to everyone who contributed to making the day such a wonderful success, and deepest gratitude is offered to Venerable Geshe-la and Gen Kelsang Zopa for bestowing this truly special gift.
One Foundation Program student shared her experience:
"The Buddha Vajrapani empowerment was very powerful and wonderful. The sadhana is beautiful and I have incorporated it into my daily practice. After practicing the Vajrapani sadhana, I feel joyous and peaceful. One very powerful effect of the empowerment is that the health issues that had been an obstacle to my meditation were dramatically reduced, making it much easier to meditate now."
