Last weekend, one of the highlights of the year took place at Kadampa Meditation Center Switzerland in Zurich. Around 100 people came together to receive a very blessed Vajrasattva empowerment, accompanied by teachings on how to purify all our negativities, guided by our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Devi.
Both new and experienced practitioners deeply appreciated the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the law of karma and to learn why it is so important to purify our negativities. Gen Devi explained in a light yet profound way how we can purify negative karma before it ripens, making the teachings both accessible and inspiring.
On Saturday, December 6, Heruka KMC in Fort Collins, Colorado, hosted a meaningful Medicine Buddha empowerment, attended by 30 practitioners, including Sangha members from Fort Collins and Denver. The empowerment was beautifully granted by Heruka KMC Resident Teacher, Kerrin Perniciaro, followed by an afternoon commentary on the practice.
The day concluded with a heartfelt practice session of the Medicine Buddha Sadhana, allowing everyone to directly experience the blessings and transformative power of this practice.

On December 7 we celebrated a very special day: the 9th anniversary of the opening of the first Kadampa Meditation Center in Colombia. Thanks to the compassionate guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, we enjoy a modern presentation of Buddha’s teachings that helps us cultivate inner peace.
Through meditation and Buddha’s wisdom, we can discover genuine happiness and contribute to a more harmonious country and world. This year, the celebration included a special Avalokiteshvara puja, during which 100 candles were lit with the heartfelt wish for compassion to grow in the hearts of all Colombians.
