What an extraordinarily blessed week it has been. Following the profound Vajrasattva empowerment with Gen-la Dekyong at Manjushri KMC, practitioners at Nagarjuna KMC had the opportunity to deepen their practice through a beautifully guided Vajrasattva retreat led by Kadam Bridget Heyes.
The week concluded perfectly with Kadam Bridget’s inspiring half-day course on calming the mind, offering gentle and insightful teachings that reinforced everything experienced earlier. Our hearts were full of gratitude for these precious opportunities to practice, reflect, and progress on the spiritual path.
We are pleased to share some photos from our annual retreat attended by 43 practitioners at the beautiful Cerro del Chipinque mountain.
During the retreat, we were able to disconnect from daily distractions and connect with profound teachings on emptiness, presented by our Resident Teacher at KMC Monterrey, Kelsang Damcho. Each day included a half-day of silence, which helped us deepen our concentration and experience of meditation. In the afternoons and evenings, we enjoyed meaningful community time, speaking only about topics of value.
Here are some images capturing these special moments. We are grateful to everyone who joined us, and we warmly invite you to our upcoming events in December 2025 and January 2026.
From December 5–7, practitioners gathered at Aravaipa Canyon Ranch, nestled at the foot of Brandenburg Mountain, for our silent, away meditation retreat, guided by Gen Kelsang Lingpur (Tucson) and Gen Kelsang Chenma (Phoenix).
Throughout the weekend, both new and experienced meditators enjoyed a simple retreat routine: shared-room lodging or outdoor camping, self-prepared vegetarian meals, and a rhythm of guided meditation sessions designed to calm the mind and deepen concentration.
Set in the serene natural beauty of Aravaipa Canyon Ranch, with creekside views, desert mountain landscapes, and spacious, peaceful surroundings, the retreat offered a welcome respite from daily life. Thanks to the kindness and vision of our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, practitioners returned home with renewed calm, clarity, and inner peace.
