IKRC Grand Canyon is preparing for the Fall Festival
Look at the transformation that has happened at IKRC Grand Canyon this summer
This summer 36 Resident Teachers and a number of Kadampas from around the US, Canada and Mexico have been helping with painting the hotel building and renovating the cafe space. So much has been done to beautify and prepare the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon in Williams for the NKT-IKBU Fall Festival 2025.

During this process of renovation and transformation at the IKRC Grand Canyon, progress has been made in different areas, not only in the Temple, but also in the various buildings, to create the necessary conditions to accommodate thousands of people at the next International Festival.
Renovations and transformations in:
- The entire hotel building exterior - repainted
- Hotel corridors, stairs and railings - sanded, primed and painted
- Hotel rooms - freshened up with new paint
- The Cafe - completely gutted and redesigned
- Furniture in the Cafe - reupholstered and modernized
- The grounds around the Temple - a drainage channel constructed
The IKRC Work Party is now also a Festival Watch Party!
The volunteers' work at the IKRC was sprinkled with the Refuge Vow Ceremony and teachings with Gen-la Jampa and Gen-la Dekyong, meditations, and retreat sessions streamed from the International Summer Festival in England. With blessings abound, the painting of the front of the main building was completed, and the kind volunteers began tackling the back.
Having the well-rounded activities of working, praying, meditating, and relaxing lends itself to a thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful experience at our Arizona Kadampa Temple for World Peace.
