Wonderful month in Paris
Kadampa Meditation Center Paris recently experienced a special month filled with inspiration and blessings with two exceptional events taught by Gen-la Kunsang and Gen Tonpa.
Welcome & public talk with gen-la kunsang
First, we had the great fortune to welcome Gen-la Kunsang, National Spiritual Director for Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and South Africa, for a public talk on the theme Staying Peaceful in a Troubled World. The event was a great success, gathering 130 people—80 in our beautiful meditation hall and 50 joining us online via YouTube. The audience was deeply touched by Gen-la’s wisdom, warmth, and clarity. Many shared how uplifted and inspired they felt after the talk.
EMPOWERMENT OF BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI with GEN KELSANG TONPA
Then, on Saturday, June 21st, over 100 people gathered at the Center for the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni with Gen Kelsang Tonpa. This powerful event took place in the presence of our large and beautiful statue of Buddha Shakyamuni and included profound teachings on The Liberating Prayer, inspired by the 2023 International Spring Festival. The day was filled with blessings, joyful minds, and a deep sense of connection to Buddha’s wisdom and compassion.
We are so grateful for these precious opportunities to come together as a community and receive such meaningful teachings. May they bring peace and happiness to all.
