Improving concentration and wisdom

At KMC Leeds we enjoyed the blessing empowerment of Medicine Guru with our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Dornying. We learned about Venerable Geshe-la’s great kindness in revealing how we can become Medicine Buddha and heal the world.
Here's a recap in pictures of last weekend's event in KMC Lille in France. A big thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who contributed to its success.
Ganden Ling KMC, Cornwall, UK, held their first empowerment weekend, receiving the special blessings of Medicine Buddha, Supreme Buddha Doctor.
Kelsang Yonchen, our kind Resident Teacher, granted the empowerment to over 45 attendees on Saturday at Chacewater Village Hall, with a tasty lunch, time to spend with precious Sangha.
Many thanks to all of the Cornish Sangha who worked so hard to put on such a wonderful event, and to our most precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Buddha Avalokiteshvara blessed more than 50 friends—old and new—at KMC Brooklyn's annual empowerment. Resident Teacher, Kadam Kyle, gave the empowerment and explained how to identify with the enlightened body and mind of the Buddha of Compassion. He also taught how we can further develop our compassion by exchanging self with others.
Among the offerings was a delicious cake decorated with OM MANI PADME HUM, the mantra of wisdom and compassion!
Fortunate people received the blessing empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa from our kind Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Lhachog at Uma Kadampa Meditation Centre, Carlisle. It was a beautiful, peaceful morning with some people receiving an empowerment for the first time. We were delighted to welcome our friends from Compassion KMC in Newcastle, KMC Lancaster and Vajrasattva KMC in Dumfries.
Many people came together both beforehand and on the day to prepare for the event, cleaning the meditation room, creating the breathtaking shrine and preparing and serving a delicious lunch.
Thank you, Geshe-la and Gen Lhachog, for giving us this rare opportunity to draw close to living Wisdom Guru Je Tsongkhapa. May we always keep him in our hearts and remember his immeasurable kindness. May everyone have good fortune similar to our own.
