A Truly International Teacher & Truly International Sangha
It's the first full day of Festival, a day to prepare our minds for receiving the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments by contemplating the three principal aspects of the path of lamrim. As Gen-la Dekyong teaches us, lamrim is the essential foundation for our practice of Highest Yoga Tantra to take us quickly to enlightenment.
Day 2~ Many meetings in Brazil
Many Brazilian Sangha have been preparing for the Festival and are working hard to help it to run smoothly. Now they are joyfully meeting Gen-la Dekyong and the international Sangha, some for the very first time.
As a world-wide tradition it is so important to have these opportunities to connect in different locations as an international community. It is not difficult to see why Venerable Geshe-la encourages us to attend international Festivals for the flourishing of our International Kadampa Buddhist Union. We can directly witness and appreciate our Spiritual Guide giving everyone equally the precious opportunity to practice Kadam Dharma, seeing how it works across every culture and in every language to learn how to control our minds, solve our problems and make our human lives meaningful..

The Union of Sutra and Tantra with Gen-la Dekyong
Gen-la shares precious teachings with us from when Geshe-la opened the Temple in 2010, inspiring us to continue his great project of building Temples for world peace throughout the world, so that whoever sees them receives powerful imprints for enlightenment into their minds and so that we create a great collection of virtue and can deeply benefit others.
The lamrim teachings with Gen-la are clear, concise and very blessed - drawing on special oral teachings and presentations from Venerable Geshe-la. She helps us to develop the wisdom mind of renunciation, a powerful good heart of bodhichitta completely free from self-cherishing and a mind realizing the correct view of emptiness. In this way we move our mind to lamrim again and again, proving the meditations to ourself using logical reasons and wisdom meditations.
